Welcome to the website of the Graduate College at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As the vice president for research and graduate dean, I am pleased to introduce you to the Graduate College, its goals, activities, and services.

First and foremost, the Graduate College strives to advance UNLV's reputation as a premier metropolitan research university. The increasing number of UNLV graduate programs and the growth in graduate enrollment serve as important indications of the sophistication of the university. Offering nearly 120 graduate degree programs, including 36 doctoral and professional degrees, the university provides wide-ranging and unique areas of study to more than 6,000 graduate and professional students.

The Graduate College is guided by the goal of providing graduate students with the highest quality academic experience, including excellent opportunities for research, scholarship, and creative activity. UNLV graduate students are able to work closely with superb faculty who are conducting research that will impact not only our community and state but also our nation and world. We pride ourselves in cultivating a campus culture that promotes the involvement of students in the performance of superior research, innovative scholarly endeavors, and inspired creative activities.
