After you’ve been admitted to the Graduate College, a faculty member in your academic department will serve as your advisor until you select your own advisor. Advising policies vary by department. Contact a member of the office staff in your specific department to learn more.

While the Graduate College staff will help facilitate your graduate studies experience, your academic department is the best source for information on advising services.
