Welcome to UNLV! Each fall and spring, the Graduate College holds New Graduate Student Orientation. Even if you know the layout of the campus and have had your questions answered, we invite you to join us at the event. It will be a wonderful opportunity to meet other graduate students and get insider tips on your upcoming graduate studies experience.

What will I learn at orientation?
When you attend new graduate student orientation, you'll receive:

Attention: New Graduate Assistants
New graduate assistants can now register for the Teaching and Learning Center’s “Introduction to Teaching” workshop. The workshop is a two-day event that provides valuable resources for graduate students who will be teaching UNLV courses for the first time.

Pre-registration is required through the TLC website.

When:   Day One: Wednesday, August 19, 2009
             
             Day Two: Friday, September 18, 2009

Where:  UNLV Student Union Ballroom

Time: Doors open for check-in at 7:45 a.m. You must show a RebelCard or picture ID for check-in.
Please arrive early, no one will be admitted once the program begins.
The program begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 11:30 a.m.

Cost:      The workshop is free!
