Please Note: diplomas are mailed approximately 8 to 10 weeks after the end of the semester.

If you apply for graduation and then change your anticipated graduation date, or if you do not meet the necessary degree requirements in the semester in which you applied to graduate, your graduation application will be automatically updated to the next semester. However, if you still do not meet all necessary degree requirements to graduate in the updated semester, you will be required to apply to graduate for a new semester and pay another graduation fee.
5. Commencement Attendance Information
Commencement attendance is not required; however, if you do plan to attend, you must wear the appropriate cap and gown. The above graduation fees do not cover the cost of the cap, gown, or invitations. Degree candidates planning to attend commencement should contact the Bookstore, 702-895-3290, about purchasing caps, gowns, and invitations.
If your plans regarding attending commencement change from the time you complete the application, please inform the Graduate College by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Since this information is needed for seating and mailing purposes, please inform us by the end of April for the May Commencement or by November 15 for the December ceremony.
If you change your graduation semester after submitting your graduation application, or if you do not meet the necessary degree requirements, your graduation application will be automatically updated to the next semester. If you still do not meet necessary degree requirements to graduate in the updated semester, you will be required to apply for a new semester and pay another graduation fee.
