Budgeting for a GA Using Sponsored Program Funds
Calculating the cost of a graduate assistantship for budgeting purposes involves multiple steps. Please see the table below, and use the Budgeting Worksheet for Sponsored Program-Funded Graduate Assistantships to calculate GA costs. The projected costs for future fiscal years have been included in the table for your convenience in budgeting for multi-year grants.
Note: The table below and budgeting worksheet may also be used by campus units to calculate the cost of extramurally funded departmental GAs.
