McNair Post-Baccalaureate Scholarships
McNair Post-Baccalaureate Scholarships, administered by the Graduate College, are awarded in open competition to first-year graduate students who participated in a McNair Scholars program at UNLV or at another institution as an undergraduate.
To be considered, applicants must:
- Have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and graduate standing status at the time the scholarship begins.
- Enroll in a minimum of nine credit hours for two consecutive semesters.
Application Deadline: McNair applications are due the second Friday in February each year.

UNLV Graduate Access Childcare Scholarship
The UNLV Graduate Access Childcare Scholarship program provides financial assistance, on a competitive basis, to students admitted & enrolled in graduate programs who meet certain criteria (see below for details). Graduate Access Childcare Scholarships are given for Fall & Spring semesters to full time graduate students; pro-rated awards may be available for part-time graduate students. Application deadlines for Fall and Spring semesters will be announced here each semester.
Applicants must
- Submit a completed FAFSA by deadline;
- Submit completed application by the designated deadline;
- Provide documentation of the cost of childcare per semester;
- Submit a business Tax ID # from each childcare or daycare provider.
