After You’re Admitted
You’ve been admitted to the Graduate College! There are a few more items you’ll need to check off your list before arriving for your first graduate-level class. Review each category to ensure that you’ve met the necessary requirements. These resources will provide insights into your upcoming graduate studies experience.
- First Step Orientation Session (PDF) Contact the Office of International Students & Scholars to make an appointment to attend a First Step session.
- Advising Contact your academic department to learn about advising
- Registration Once you’re admitted and immunization requirements are met, it’s time to register on the registration site.
- Orientation Get to know your campus and the UNLV family through these programs.
- Tuition Payments Estimate your payments or check your current balance.
- Become a Graduate Assistant Earn a competitive stipend, plus tuition and fee waivers.
- Immunizations Proof of immunizations is required to register. You are also required to purchase UNLV health insurance.
- Extracurricular Programs Engage in everything from multicultural programs to student government by visiting the Student Involvement and Activities site.
- Housing Explore campus housing options or use the handy off-campus housing locator on the Campus Housing site.
